Sock Drives

Three of the Moms at Shir Ami Synagog in Newtown, PA who helped organize a sock drive to provide new socks for the homeless for The Joy of Sox

Conducting sock drives is a fun activity and a great way to both raise awareness of the plight of the homeless and the problems they have from not having new socks.

Sock drives can be held in your school, church, workplace, favorite store…or anyplace.

Our primary outreach began in the greater Philadelphia area, however we  now provide new socks to shelters across the United States whenever we can.
